Coachella 2026 Set Lengths Spark Debate Among Festivalgoers

Coachella 2026 has ignited a heated discussion among festivalgoers as set lengths for this year’s lineup have been revealed. With headliners like Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and Arctic Monkeys drawing massive crowds, the duration of their performances has become a hot topic.

According to the official schedule, headliners will perform for approximately 90 minutes each, while other main stage acts will have 60-minute slots. Smaller stages will feature 45-minute sets, a slight reduction from previous years. This adjustment has left some fans disappointed, particularly those who traveled long distances to see their favorite artists.

“I paid thousands of dollars to come here, and now I find out my favorite artist only gets 45 minutes? It feels like a rip-off,” said Sarah Martinez, a first-time attendee from Chicago. Others, however, argue that shorter sets allow more artists to perform and create a diverse lineup.

The debate has spilled over onto social media, with hashtags like #CoachellaSetTimes and #MoreMusic trending on Twitter. Some fans have even started petitions urging organizers to extend set lengths for certain performers.

Coachella organizers have yet to comment publicly on the controversy. However, insiders suggest the changes were made to accommodate the festival’s growing lineup and logistical challenges. With over 150 artists performing across multiple stages, timing has become increasingly complex.

The festival, held annually in Indio, California, is one of the most anticipated music events in the U.S. This year’s edition runs over two weekends, April 15–17 and April 22–24, and is expected to draw over 250,000 attendees.

As the debate continues, one thing is clear: Coachella 2026 has already made headlines, even before the first note is played. Whether fans will embrace the changes or push for adjustments remains to be seen.
